In that span, N614FF wore 2 different liveries, both all white with Tower Air written on the tail and the fuselage, however, it also operated a livery where Tower Air was not written on the fuselage, likely after they had just leased the aircraft. In 1991, Continental re-registered the aircraft to N10024, and 3 years later in 1994, Tower Air leased the 747, re-registering it to N614FF. PEOPLExpress merged with Continental in 1987, leaving Continental with control of N609PE. Qantas returned the aircraft to Boeing in 1986, and a few months later, PEOPLExpress received it bearing the registration N609PE. Initially, this aircraft was ordered by Qantas under the registration VH-EBE. N614FF is a Boeing 747-238B which operated with Tower Air from the 20th of July, 1994, to the 3rd of February, 1997, when it was leased out to Continental Micronesia and scrapped sometime around 2010.
